John is a Foreign Legal Advisor in the Corporate and Commercial, Intellectual Property Protection and Enforcement Practice Groups of Samuel Seow Law Corporation.

He graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999, and thereafter a Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila School of Law in 2003. He was admitted to the Phillippine bar in 2004.

John began his legal career as an Associate in one of the leading Philippine law firms specialising in Intellectual Property. He was working as an IP consultant in an international research and development company based in the Philippines’ International Freeport Zone, when he received an opportunity to work here in Singapore.

John joined a Singapore law firm with a regional practice as a Foreign Associate in its Intellectual Property and Corporate & Commercial Practice Groups, where he has further widened his practice experience and exposure to include several corporate and commercial matters involving local and international clients.
