Thereafter he has maintained a satisfactory record in his performance at the Bar, having succeeded more than losing in contentious hearings. After 14 years, Boon Kiat remains interested in litigation practice seeing it as the primary reason he remains a lawyer.

In his years of practice, Boon Kiat has been exposed to many areas of litigation, including contracts; tort (negligence); hire purchase; motor accident claims; industrial accidents; criminal cases and divorce matters. Being results and clients - oriented, he finds obtaining a good result for a client the most satisfactory part of practice.
