Samuel Seow An leads the arbitration practice of Samuel Seow Law Corporation. He is admitted to practice in Singapore and Australia.

Samuel has significant experience in resolving commercial disputes across a range of industries, including construction, investment joint ventures, energy and healthcare. Samuel has experience in SIAC, ICC, BANI, TAI, UNCITRAL and other arbitral rules.

Samuel has also developed a practice in private client services, advising trust companies, fiduciary service providers and wealthy families on the establishment and administration of trusts, structuring of investments, succession planning, tax and regulatory issues, immigration and other private client matters.

He is featured in the 2017 edition of the Thomson Reuters Asian Legal Business “40 under 40” lawyers in Asia, primarily for his experience in cross-border matters.

Samuel is regularly invited to speak at institutions across the region and has authored articles and book chapters for legal publications including the International Arbitration Review, Singapore Law Gazette and the Global Arbitration Review. He holds adjunct appointments at universities in Australia, Indonesia and Thailand. In 2016, he was appointed the Deputy Managing Editor of International Arbitration Asia.

Prior to his appointment at Samuel Seow Law Corporation, Samuel was practising in the construction, energy and international arbitration departments of a large regional law firm.

He holds a first-class Bachelor of Law degree and a Master’s in Law degree from the Australian National University.
